Entering his eighth year of service to the CHA, and 27th year to the Western Collegiate Hockey Association, Greg Shepherd serves as supervisor of officials for both leagues, entering his 11th year in that capacity with the WCHA.

Long recognized as one of the top on ice officials in college hockey, Shepherd brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his current role. As a referee, he was assigned to work in eight NCAA Division I Championships.

A veteran of the U.S. Navy (1967-69), Shepherd retired after 35 years with Xcel Energy in St. Paul, Minn. He is also a former West St. Paul city councilman.

He and his wife, Nancy, reside in West St. Paul and are the parents of a daughter, Tiffany (31) and two sons, Derek (33) and Brad (29), both of whom are college hockey officials.
