College Hockey America announced its 2002-03 all-conference team as selected by head coaches and their assistants. Niagara University forward Joe Tallari earned CHA Player of the Year honors, breaking the streak of three straight goaltenders as award winners. University of Alabama-Huntsville netminder Scott Munroe was named CHA Rookie of the Year.

Munroe was selected to the second team as well as the all-rookie squad, while Tallari headlined the first-team honorees. A four-time CHA Player of the Week this season, Munroe posted an 8-2-1 record in conference games and tallied a league-high .932 save percentage in those contests. Tallari, who ranks sixth in the nation for scoring, set the CHA single season record for points with 54 (26G-28A), and needs just one more goal to set the single season CHA record for goals scored.

Coach of the Year honors went to University of Alabama-Huntsville bench boss Doug Ross. In 21 seasons with the Chargers, Ross has a record of 393-209-30. Overall, Ross is 449-244-32 in 24 years as a college head coach.

Student-athlete of the Year honors went to Findlay junior Jason Maxwell.

Regular season champion Alabama-Huntsville had a total of seven honorees on the all-conference team, while league runnerup Niagara had four. Bemidji State had three all-conference selections, followed by Wayne State with two and Air Force and Findlay with one each. The awards list was made up of six seniors, three juniors, two sophomores and seven freshmen.
